A syncopated body: a discussion of the influence of samba in the work of the actor Grande Otelo in Brazilian Theater of Revue

The proposal is to present the highlight of the actor Grande Otelo in the theater of revue in early decades (30's and 40's) of the 20th century, approaching specifically his reconstruction as an artist of this kind of theater in Rio de Janeiro, his interpretations of characters related to the Brazilian Black man as well as the use of Samba as his working material.
