Traducción al portugués del original "Shimmer: When All You Love Is Being Trashed" (2017) de Deborah Bird Rose, publicado en el libro "Arts of Living on a Damaged Planet: Ghosts and Monsters of the Anthropocene" editado por Anna Lowenhaupt Tsing et al., y publicado por Minnesota Press.

A través de sus escritos sobre extinción, ética y filosofía ecológica aborigen, DEBORAH BIRD ROSE es una figura clave en la animación de las humanidades ambientales. Su trabajo, basado en investigaciones a largo plazo con pueblos aborígenes de Australia, se centra en comunidades multiespecies en esta época de cambio climático. Fue profesora del Programa de Humanidades Ambientales de la University of New South Wales, Sydney, y cofundadora de la revista Environmental Humanities. Su libro más reciente fue “Wild Dog Dreaming: Love and Extinction” (2011). Deborah Bird Rose falleció el 21 de diciembre de 2018 en Sydney, Australia.
