"Feminist and Sexuality Geographies: Encounters and Differences", organized by geographers Joseli Maria Silva (UEPG), Marcio Jose Ornat (UEPG) and Alides Baptista Chimin Junior (Unicentro), is a precious work in Brazilian geography. Composed of ten articles, including nine Anglophone translations, the collection is the result of a decision to pronounce on spatial choices and scales, with the objective of producing a geography capable of bringing generalized, sexualized and racialized subjects to the center of the scientific debate. encounters and differences is present both in the work as a whole and in the theoretical bases well articulated in the articles. Published in 2016, this book is part of the scientific production of the Group of Territorial Studies (TEAP), formed in 2003, at the State University of Ponta Grossa, Paraná. The TEAP brought new questions for spatial analysis, based on gender and sexuality, as opposed to heteronormative approaches, confirms Miguel Angelo Ribeiro in the preface. In addition to the organization of the articles, it provides a wide and, above all, a consistent approach to the diversity of research already done in the field of feminist geography and sexuality, the first article written by the Brazilian organizers of the work brings to light pertinent and current discussions in "About the epistemological disobedience and the intellectual testament of Milton Santos ".
