In 2006, the Brazilian law on food and nutritional security was promulgated - Law n. 11.346 / 20061. Without doubt, it was a milestone and a great achievement in the recognition and defense of the right to food in Brazil. And the first national legislation that states food as a right. More than a point of arrival is an initial ground for future democratic conquests and discussions.
