Abstract

The aim of this article is to present some considerations on the process of teaching and learning translation at university level by examining it from the viewpoint of ethnographic research. Our focus is the process of producing translations within the classroom situation and it is our intention to stimulate reflection that may lead towards a fruitful debate on the training of translators.
