Abstract

 O cenário político brasileiro tem mudado drasticamente nos últimos anos. João Doria Junior, prefeito de São Paulo, Nelson Marchezan, prefeito de Porto Alegre e Jair Bolsonaro, deputado federal presidenciável em 2018, têm se tornado atores políticos relevantes, não sendo mais possível ignorar suas presenças no espaço público. O objetivo desse trabalho é analisar a disputa entre atores políticos e mídia na construção da imagem a partir da transformação dos espaços sociais com as novas tecnologias.  Entendemos que a transformação dos fatos em acontecimentos políticos espetaculares só é viável quando há confluência de interesses da mídia e do campo político. Dialogam nesse trabalho os conceitos de Guy Debord sobre a Sociedade do Espetáculo, Maria Helena Weber e Georges Balandier.
