Abstract

O presente artigo deseja analisar o uso da crônica e do conto de futebol como forma alternativa de jornalismo esportivo. O artigo se estrutura em duas partes. A primeira explica o processo que permite transformar a performance esportiva do futebol em forma poética textual da crônica e do conto. A segunda descreve a importância e a presença histórica desses gêneros textuais na imprensa esportiva brasileira do início até a Copa do Mundo de 2018, bem como a descrição de dois projetos autorais: (1) a série de livros “Microcontos de Futebol” sobre as Copas do Mundo de futebol; e (2) o webdocumentário “Triângulo do Futebol”, apoiado enquanto projeto de pesquisa da Fapemig, sobre a história futebolística no Triângulo Mineiro e Alto Paranaíba.
