Abstract

As a phenomenon, new journalism is directly linked to the counterculture. It is even possible to think of an extrapolation of the phenomenon in order to establish broader parameters that configure a notion of an epistemic attitude towards countercultural journalism as a set of assumptions that can be observed in the production of some journalists. This article works with this horizon from Nietzsche's notions of "value" and "common good" as antagonistic.

  • Silvio Ricardo Demétrio, Londrina State University

    Possui graduação em Comunicação Social Jornalismo pela Universidade Estadual de Londrina (1994), mestrado em Ciências da Comunicação pela Universidade de São Paulo (2001) e doutorado em Epistemologia da Pesquisa Em Comunicação pela Universidade de São Paulo (2007). Atualmente é professor adjunto da Universidade Estadual de Londrina. Tem experiência na área de Comunicação, com ênfase em Jornalismo Especializado (Comunitário, Rural, Empresarial, Científico), atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: comunicação visual, cinema, visualidade, jornalismo, jornalismo cultural, jornalismo opinativo, jornalismo literário e contracultura.
