Abstract

José de Moura Leite Neto is a journalist, PhD in Oncology at the A.C. Camargo Cancer Center and one of the founders and current president of the Brazilian Network of Journalists and Science Communicators. In an interview carried out on November 12, 2021, he spoke about the role of RedeComCiência and reflected on the concept of scientific journalism, the training of journalists specializing in science and the production of this type of journalism by universities.

    Doutoranda do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Ciências da Comunicação da Escola de Comunicação e Artes da Universidade de São Paulo (ECA/USP) na linha de pesquisa Processos comunicacionais: tecnologias, produção e consumos. Graduada em jornalismo pela Universidade Metodista de São Paulo (2001) e mestre em Comunicação Social pela Universidade Metodista de São Paulo (2005).
