Abstract

This article proposes to discuss the process of integrating an exclusively printed vehicle into the adoption of online placement. This observation takes place through the journalistic work presented by the newspaper A Tribuna MT, one of the main vehicles in the interior of the state of Mato Grosso, the first printed media vehicle in the city of Rondonópolis and the only one to be in circulation to this day. Founded in 1970, the vehicle had to adapt to the development and popularization of the internet and started to make the content available on its website and social networks. The case study is based on bibliographic research, mainly on the characteristics of the cyberjournalism format according to Schwingel (2012) and Canavilhas (2006) and the analysis of the content published in the printed and online version by the newspaper during June 2022 editions.
