Overflow Borders: A Methodological Approach for the Development of International Relations' History of the Brazilian Military Regime (1964-1985) using International Journalistic Sources

This article aims to discuss the methodological aspects for using historical international newspapers in the development of the International Relations’ History of the Brazilian Military Regime (1964-1985), especially in its relations with the United States. An application is presented for an historic approximation to the object of this research, utilizing a combination of theoretical material from Contemporary History, International Relations Studies and especially Communications, aiming to develop a transdisciplinary ethos to arrive in new analysis and contribute to the amplification of possible historic reports about the period.
