The text presents the 90 miles project, produced by the photojournalist Michael Christopher Brown, which features photographs created using Midjourney, an Artificial Intelligence image generator that has gained prominence today. Since these images are characterized by the photographer himself as an experiment in post-photographic production, and considering the fact that their construction took place without the confrontation between the camera and the factual events represented in the images, this text discuss the feasibility of framing the project as a photoreporting in tune with the reality of image production and circulation in contemporary times.
