This interview aims to present the points of intersection between the Hip Hop movement in Sorocaba and the concept of free and community radio. Specifically, it examines how the initiative of the Tá Ligado HIP HOP program, from the community radio station Cultural FM 87.7, can strengthen sociocultural movements that branch out from music and radio. To achieve the proposed objectives, the interview employs concepts from thematic oral history (Meihy, 2002; Hoffman, 2015; Lozano, 2006) and semi-structured interviews (Bernal Torres, 2006; Manzini, 1990/1991; Triviños, 1987) as investigative methodologies. These procedures serve as a foundation for developing a methodological path. In other words, processes are adapted to address a problem within the field of Communication and Culture.
