Abstract

This article addresses the representation of cultural journalism through the production of the magazine Projeção, a graphic project developed as a final project for the Social Communication course with a specialization in Journalism at Centro Universitário Barão de Mauá in Ribeirão Preto (SP), during the second semester of 2021, under the supervision of professor Márcio Huertas. Cultural journalism is one of the most widely read areas of modernity. However, in recent years, it has become overly reliant on artistic and cultural agendas. This production presents graphic elements that combine design with journalism, enhancing the reading experience and a new sensitivity and care for the subject matter.

Author Biography

  • Samuel Henrique Gallo Deleguide, Centro Universitário Barão de Mauá

    Possui MBA em Comunicação e Marketing pelo Centro Universitário Barão de Mauá de Ribeirão Preto (SP). É graduado em Comunicação Social com habilitação em Jornalismo pela mesma instituição de ensino e em Comunicação Social com habilitação em Publicidade e Propaganda pela Faculdade São Luís de Jaboticabal (SP). Possui qualificação técnica de radialista certificado pelo Senac Ribeirão Preto (Serviço Nacional de Aprendizagem Comercial). Atualmente, atua como designer gráfico no setor de Tecnologia Educacional da Organização Educacional Barão de Mauá, sendo responsável pela criação de layouts e revisão de materiais do AVA (ambiente virtual de aprendizagem). Tem experiência profissional nas áreas da comunicação, diagramação, design e tecnologia, com conhecimentos em softwares de edição como Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign e Premiere, e na plataforma Moodle.
