This article addresses the multiple effects caused by the interview method, based on the experiences of two research projects. Both studies, which support this reflection, have women journalists and researchers as subjects. Impacts on the interviewees during the interviews are noted, most of which are related to self-understanding. Subsequent reverberations, even past few months, are also recorded, in which the research subjects perceive that they emerged transformed from the encounter with the researchers. The theoretical framework utilizes Cremilda Medina's notion of dialogical interviewing and Jean-Claude Kaufmann's notion of comprehensive interviewing.
