Abstract

A partir desta edição, a revista Alterjor publica uma série de entrevistas realizada pelo professor e pesquisador Enio Moraes Júnior. Jornalista formado pela Universidade Federal de Alagoas, Enio é mestre e doutor em Ciências da Comunicação pela ECA-USP e professor do curso de jornalismo da Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing, em São Paulo.

Os textos publicados aqui, com nova edição para a revista Alterjor, são parte da sua pesquisa de doutorado sobre formação de jornalistas, que está disponível no banco de teses da USP.

Nesta entrevista, realizada em 2010 na Universidade Nova de Lisboa, em Portugal, o professor Nelson Traquina, conhecido por seus estudos sobre jornalismo, afirma que esta é uma atividade profissional muito exigente e, certamente, suscetível a críticas.

Traquina (1948) nasceu nos Estados Unidos, mas tem nacionalidade portuguesa. Foi Professor Catedrático do Departamento de Ciências da Comunicação na Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Entre suas publicações estão A Tribo Jornalística: Uma Comunidade Interpretativa Transnacional (2004), Teorias do Jornalismo: Porque as Notícias são como são (2004), O Que é Jornalismo? (2002) e O Estudo do Jornalismo no Século XX (2001).
