Abstract

Este artigo busca apresentar a atuação do rádio clandestino durante período de guerrilha (1956-1959) na Revolução Cubana , especificamente a Rádio Rebelde e demais estações radiofônicas criadas na Sierra Maestra pelo Exército Rebelde, que combatia a ditadura de Fulgêncio Batista, instalada em 1952, por golpe militar. Pretende-se dar indicadores de como o rádio foi utilizado como arma militar, ideológica e de propaganda política do Movimento Revolucionário 26 de Julho, liderado por Fidel Castro. Para isso, está sendo realizada pesquisa de Mestrado sobre o tema que analisa o assunto a partir de entrevistas com combatentes que estiveram na guerrilha; textos publicados em jornais, revistas e livros; e locuções originais da época recolhidas em formato de áudio e impressas
