Abstract

This article reflects on the problematics of witnessing and responsibility in the reception of contemporary performance. A personal receptive experience of the author is used, as well as the testimony of another spectator, on her experience with the same piece, as a means to enable this reflexion.

    Alessandra Montagner é pesquisadora, diretora teatral, atriz e performer. Doutoranda do Programa de Pós-graduação em Artes da Cena, do Instituto de Artes da Universidade Estadual de Campinas, Unicamp - com pesquisa finaciada pelo convênio FAPESP/ CAPES. Mestre em Dança-Teatro: O Corpo em Performance pelo Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance (2012), Alessandra também é Bacharel em Artes Cênicas pela UFSM - habilitações Direção (2006) e Interpretação Teatral (2004).
