This study analyzes an artistic-pedagogical practice with autistic children and young people at Associação de Pais e Amigos dos Autistas de Guarujá from 2021 to 2022, focusing on an autistic woman whose hyperfocus on soap operas fueled her artistic creation. Based on theoretical references from Fernand Deligny, Susanne Langer, and Bertolt Brecht, it argues that the theater establishes itself as a space to instantiate diverse existences, fostering belonging and expanding expressive possibilities. The qualitative in this research used a case study and a creative process analysis. The reflections suggest that open and diverse practices can affirm identity and appreciate the ways of being in the world.
