DISSOLUTION OF BOUNDARIES: the performative work of Sophie Calle

This article analyses Suíte Vénitienne, an artistic project from the french artist Sophie Calle, using theoretical tools from various fields: visual arts, urbanism and the scenic arts. The author intends, with the analysis of this specific work, to investigate how contemporary artistic works promote the dissolution of the old artistic categories and the boundaries that separate “art” from “life”.
