DRAMA AS A THEATER POSSIBILITY IN EARLY CHILHOOD EDUCATION

The research proposal, mentioned in this text, consisted in a theoretical and practical research, in a doctoral level, about the defense of Drama being a possible forwarding method on working with the theatrical language in Early Childhood Education. As a theoretical basis, it was used writings of British authors about this method, as well as Brazilians researchers of this matter, especially Beatriz Cabral and Flávio Desgranges. Through 9 experiments with children between 2 and 6 years old, it was possible to realize the connection between the proposal of the Drama and the specificities of the pedagogical work developed in this segment of education and discuss new possibilities of exploring the theatrical language with kids.
