PERSPECTIVE OF THE CONCEPT OF POLITICS OF JACQUES RANCIÈRE AND GIORGIO AGAMBEN’S PHILOSOPHY

A considerable portion of nowadays political-philosophical thought has been renewed in the sense of replacing the issue of politics from the perspective of common and questioning the political subject through its representation and emancipation possibilities. Philosophers as Jacques Rancière and Giorgio Agamben belong to this diapason, which have been more and more studied by research departments in Brazil. This article aims at developing, in a pedagogical fashion, a theoretical articulation between the idea of “politics” in these contemporary thinkers emphasizing it as a symbolic category in the bosom of democratic Western societies, in order to arouse research possibilities in posterior studies.Downloads
