Abstract

The current article intents to analyze the narrative of Judges 3:12-
30, seeking to put it in the context of its own book, its own literature, and the relation between Israel and Moab in the Hebrew Bible. The narrative analysis will focus on the characterization of Ehud and Eglon, and also be attentive to the repetition of verbs and keywords as an indispensable to a thematic proposal connected to food and drink in the relationship between Israel and Moab.
