Taking as a reference some of the questions raised in my interview in the book O Papel da Crítica na Formação de um Pensamento Contemporâneo de Arte no Brasil na Década de 1970 (2023) but in direct connection with the position I have developed as an artist in the last decades, problems of criticism and art
theory will be organized in this study from the concrete and material relationships involved in the production of the works under the perspective of an action that is both sensorial and conceptual. Among other topics, this study will focus on the relationship between the problems of the art circuit in the 1970s and 1980s; the ‘disappearance’ of the critic in relation to the curator; the mutations of the art circuit at the end of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st century; and the investment in an image of the artist that understands
this agent as more than just a producer of works of art.
