Culture Jamming: ativismo e contra-hegemonia

Abstract

The introduction of the media in the contemporary context requests a serie of reviews of concepts in the social, political and cultural sphere. The several forms of activism, which get established in this scenery, raise new analyses about different questions specially about the social and political role of these power in the society. This article does a brief study about Culture Jamming as a kind of activism that uses contemporary resources and methods in a counter hegemonic battle against the major brands domination of Media’s spaces. For this, some points of Gramsci views will be compared here with the processes that really occur in jammers practices.
