About the Journal

The Revista CPC  is a scientific journal published by the Cultural Preservation Center of the University of São Paulo, a body of the Office of the Provost for Culture and Extension.The journal focuses on the discussion and reflection of issues related to cultural heritage in its many aspects: heritage preservation; identification and documentation of cultural assets; heritage education; cultural references and social memory; museum institutions; archives, memory and information centers; collections and holdings; conservation and restoration. Published semiannually, the journal features original articles, reviews, interviews, reports, and testimonials. Each year, it publishes a special themed edition, such as a Dossier. Since its creation in 2005, Revista CPC has been regularly dedicated to promoting research and disseminating knowledge in the field of cultural heritage.
